I have a johnson vro 110hp.The

I have a johnson vro 110hp.The alarm goes off after I run the engine for 10 minutes.Book says that it is running hot.Water is comming out of pump as usuale.is it running hot anyway or other problem?

"You may be running hot on one both both banks of cylinders.

When the buzzer goes off, carefully touch the top of the cylinder heads on each bank. You should be able to hold your fingers there for a few seconds. If not, it's too hot.

If just one bank is hot, it is more than likely a thermostat problem, there are two.

I would not attempt to replace the stat's without a manual. They are available here, on this site.

In addition, if you do not know when the water pump was serviced, you're overdue."
