I have a 68 evinrude with a buick 225 v6 that's toast. Anyone ever try swapping a later model 231 from a newer buick? Issues?

I've been told you can find these engines (my boat has one) in older Skylarks.My local Wrecking Yard has them.$150. for the whole engine. BEWARE of the "left-hand rotation" motors....they're JUNK.
