brvo 1 start with muffs

can i start my 502s with ear muffs for the first time this season or should it be in the water has bravo1 out drives and pump is on side of motor so there shouldnt be any pumps in drive right

depends upon how the install was done.

If the pump draws from the drive, the muffs over the water inlet will work, at idle rpm. If the pump draws from a thru hull, you can't use the muffs.

ok thanks we tryed it and no water went in and no water came out so pumps must not be working got 2 new impellers gonna do a flush on the motors make sure nothing is blocked thanks again

How long should it take before water come back out of the prop ? With muffs on ??

2 full minutes tops. No water then something is wrong.
