I have a 1994 Volvo Penta with a Chevy V6 engine with a carburetor. Engine died and would not restart. Had the carb rebuilt and electric fuel pump replaced along with both fuel filters. Still would not run until we found a wire off of the alternator which apparently runs the fuel pump. Now engine starts and runs at low speed, but when I run at 3/4 or higher speed, engine dies like there is no fuel, but it immediately starts up. Feels like it is running out of gas, but the in line fuel filter seems to stay full of fuel. Gas is clean. Really ran great until this problem.
