" Appears that someone has a strong enough thumb to split the pivot pin support boss on the motor support casting. This casting sits between the two mounting clamps (held by 3/8"x7" carriage bolt), and the motor pivots around it.
When you push down on the release lever, most of the travel is taken up by the pivot pin deflecting in its broken channel and the motor stays locked down.
Has anyone been able to fabricate a fix, or should I replace the whole casting? "
