I'm new at this site and appreciate your advice. After installing a new water pump kit on my 2015 F200XB, I had a bit of difficulty reinstalling the lower unit and accidentally broke off the small plastic speedometer nipple. It broke off flush. Since I use my GPS for monitoring speed and my boat speedometer is not even hooked up, m question is--Does it cause any harm to run it without the nipple? Not 100% certain where the water will go since the nipple doesn't each the speedometer tube anymore. Instincts say its fine but want to check with the experts. See pic. Thanks in advance.
