"I have a 1971 Mercury Marine 500 Thunderbolt Ignition 50hp outboard. The lower case is broke and I would like to know where I can find another one. I have looked on ebay but don't know if I can use different years. I found one on ebay but the part number is different than mine. Do I have to use the exact part number or are there interchangable numbers. My part number is 1647-4930 and if someone can point me in the right direction as to where I can buy another case, I would be eternally grateful!!
