Broken Engine cowling latch replacement???

I tried doing a search but came up with nothing on this.
So, my latch/lever that unlocks the engine cowling broke off and I cant lock the engine cover now. I had some done at my local Honda mechanic and told him about it , when I picked up the boat it looked at first glance that he fixed it (cotter Pin) but when I eventually tried it , it doesn’t lock. I would rather not bring it back to Honda for this because it’s a pretty far distance to trailer the boat for something I was hoping I could get done myself. Any suggestions? Can I buy this new and replace it. I have had little success and first search I conducted. I will try looking up the part I guess and go from there. Just wondering if anyone here had a similar issue and what they did. Thanks in advance !

Yeah I checked . They are not sure what the whole assembly I need , they had me call Honda and a guy there didn’t know. I have the schematic and will order what I think is needed I guess . Maybe a trial and error. You would think on there end it would state what all parts are needed to complete lock/ cover mechanism.
