"try to change cylinder head gasket,broke one bolt,drill a hole,tap ez out in and broke the ez out,like to know if i dont use that bolt,mean just leave it like it is,and put the new gasket in,tight rest of bolt except that broken one,is that alright?compresion still good."

"Jason, a couple of often used tools on my bench are my drill and tap/dye set. I really would drill it out, re-tap and put the bolt back.

They really did put the bolt there for a reason. If this was a "headless" split block Merc where you would only be talking about a waterjacket cover holding back no more than 6 or 7 psi you could probably get away with it, but why take the chance of toasting your motor for the sake of a little extra work - even if it is a pain..."
 
Time to visit a machine shop t

Time to visit a machine shop to have the broken ezee-out removed.Call untill you find someone who says " we have the technology - bring it in ".

Hi Jason:
I'm a machinist and would recommend getting it fixed.
If they have an EDM and a tap your looking at less then 1/2 hour to fix it properly. At the most 1 hour.
