" We just had our Johnson 115 outoard engine rebuilt. The service department gave us printed instructions for breaking in the motor. It said to mix the gas and oil 50:1. We have put two hours on the boat. I happened to look in our old manual and it said to put in a 25:1 mixture for breaking in the motor. In looking at the printed instructions, I suspect the service department gave us instructions for a 4-stroke engine (one with an oil reservoir). Question: Have we damaged our engine by running it for two hours with a 50:1 mixture? Please respond ASAP--I can still stop payment on the check. "
