Bravo 3 gearlube reservoir question

Hu guys, i changed my gear lube today so I emptied the bottle and figured that I would rinse out the sludge. So I attempted to remove the large nut on the bottom but realized it was not coming off andcjust kept turning. So I tried to tighten it back, but once again it kept turning. Now it has slight leak. Could you please advise how to tighten.

If you have the square bottle, You'll need a new one now. If it's the old style round bottle, you should still be able to get parts for it.
