How badly is it corroded, and where? If it's pitting and not too deep, it's probably salvageable but the more important issue is that your anodes have been neglected.Hi all
Have a 1997 bravo 3 outdrive which is corroded. What are my options and assuming replacement is only option where do you obtain one ?
Regards Phil
Will check if I replace, cheersAny Bravo drive built after 1993 will work
The only difference between the B1, B2 and B3 is the lower, the upper half is all the same "except" the ratio
The Bravo changes ratios of the upper and lower depending on what is needed. Need to find out which ratio you have
Pitting on front top end cover. Probably a bit more than pitting at prop shaft flang. Hasn't worsened since I've had boat (5 years) as I replace anodes annually. Suppose the sensible thing to do is get checked by a professional. How badly is it corroded, and where?
