Bravo 1 Tiltl Gauge not working

The Tilt Gauge on my 96 Baja...454..mercruiser bravo 1 drives has not worked this year. Now that I have it out of the water and winterizing the rest of the boat what do i have to do to check it our and service it? What is the likely causes and solutions ?

Advise, directions and recommendations are appreciated!

Check the wiring at the drive tilt sender. Stbd side of the drive right at the lift swivel hinge.

Get a replacement pair of senders. Wire are probably rotted and not repairable.
