Boat drags

hey guys! followed your advice

hey guys! followed your advice and cleaned the carburetor (AQ171C). boat still drags. played with the idle and mixture screws and there's a surge of power for a few moments. can you guys help as to where to go next. thanks in advance!

"Have you synchronized the carbs properly? If not, I suggest you should get hold of a unisync vacuum gauge and synchronize them. The Seloc manual explains how to do it."

"hey el thanks a lot. the boat is running better. haven't got the gauge yet but i followed seloc manual's number of turns of idle and mixture screws and adjusted the pin in the lever opening. boat is running faster, i'll just get the gauge on ebay to smoothen the ride."
