"Situation is I had carbs rebuilt, guy doing the work unplugged VRO harness(not using VRO) and the pins where corroded and must have shorted the alarms, before carb work had no problems with alarm lights or warning horn, now I have a constant "hot" light on and no horn? I have unplugged temp switch and grounded to see if horn would work, it did not and the manual says Blocking Diode is bad; the horn does work during self test when key is switched on. Yes the engine does run in test tank, tell tale is pushing water out fine, temp on water housing is touchable, and motor does go above 2500 rpm so S.L.O.W. is not engaged. I have the new blocking Diode from OMC (12.00) but instructions are for different model then mine and give a different location/setup.
Question is does anybody have a picture of where on the 99J50PLEEA wiring harness the Blocking Diode is located? All help is greatly appreciated. I did look on BRP parts catalog but schematic is very vague.
