Hi all I'm hoping someone can help me, my 1989 135hp Blackmax tilt/trim has stopped working and it requires a new electric motor, a new pump/motor from Mercury will cost $1800 in Oz, The brush plate is no longer available and used ones in victoria Aust are few and far inbetween. My question is, can anybody recommend the aftermarket motors sold on ebay (caltric, Wai, etc) as I don't want to buy one, have it freighted to Oz then find out its a huge pile of manure.
