Bigtwin Ignition

I am prepping my new find 1953 bigtwin25 for spring running and have finally gotten the flywheel off. I am replacing the coils, wires and dressing the points. I will be using the engine on a hydro so I will require a ignition safety tether switch. Does anyone know how to wire this up?

The way you kill the motor is to short the two points sets together. If you dont have the kill circuit normally two black wires from the armature plate. Install the wires so they dont rub on anything and you have enough slack to advance the timing from stop to stop and run those wires to the lanyard switch.

So if I am reading this correctly, run two wires under the moving parts to the switch. The wires run from the black connector on the coil winding laminations. When the switch is triggered the two points ground each other out right?
