BF75 hard start-warm

I have a 2004 Honda BF75 (carbureted) tiller. After running it, shutting it off and letting it sit for 10-30 minutes it is hard to start. It will start if I choke it (has manual choke).
But to me it should start instantly without choke when it is warm?
Ideas?
Idle speed setting?

Yes it should generally start right back up.

Your idle rpms in neutral should be around 950 plus or minus 50. I usually set it near 1000 rpm.

Also, check your fuel bulb and see if you have to squeeze it a few times after it sits. You could be losing fuel due to a faulty bulb.

You may have carburator issues, but if it is running good other than this, I would not take them apart.

A lot depends too on how your idle mixture settings are set (although yours probably have limiters on them) You might try turning them all the way to the left stop. They may already be there.

If the carbs' vacuum balance is off, it could also make it harder to start than it should. If so, you may notice that the idle is not quite as smooth as it should be.
