BF50A2- Lower Unit Oil Capacity?

Depends on the serial number....up to frame # 3213356 it is 17.6oz. From frame # 3213357 and later it is 13.9 oz.

while we're on that subject of capacities......

What about oil capacity? I put 2 quarts in it last time I changed it and it seemed to be way up the dipstick. So this time, i put about a quart and 3/4 of another and it looks right on the money.
