"Engine stalls at idle speed,

"Engine stalls at idle speed, either in or out of gear. Even when warm, it will run for only a few seconds and then die. Restarting requires a bit of throttle opened up, out of gear. Seems to run great at all speeds. On a pontoon boat, so we mostly cruise aroud at 2000 rpm or so. Problem began with rough idle. 3 years old. Change plugs every season. Nothing else so far except fluids."

"Slim chance this will work, but while the engine is running you can try squirting some B-12 by Chemtool (from Advance Auto)in the upper crankcase vetilation ports on top of the carbs. Disconnect the black hoses that are on top of the carbs, and squirt on the B-12. Be sure to wear protective gloves / sleeves because the B-12 is very "hot" / will eat your skin / peel paint. This may unclog the jets (or may not). Good luck."
