BF40A - Lower End Nut torque spec?

As some of you probably know from my previous thread, my lower unit is about dead. I found a replacement but it is a 25" shaft version so I need to swap my 20" shaft over. When I reassemble, what is the torque spec for the gear case end nut?

Not sure of torque spec .... but I have done a few .... not sure if my torque wrench would even fit in there.... I just loctite the threads and hold shaft in holding fixture in vise ... box end wrench and good and tight.

Thank you! That is just what I needed.

I just swapped the shaft over and reassembled. I went with an aftermarket tool.

Stupidly solid and heavy. Of course now I have $120 in a tool that I will never need again since I plan to sell this motor.
