BF250 spark plug part number if i am correct ZFR6EA-11-E any one know what the meaning of (E) i checked in NGK site also but i couldn't find it, actually i want to know whether we can use same plug but without (E )

thnx

That part of the part number indicates that it is a special design. I do not recommend using anything but the recommended plug, especially in a new engine like the 250 with only 100 hours on it. With all that money invested in the 250, the right spark plugs are a cheap investment.

Just my opinion.

thnx mike,we used that normal plugs but its failed after 150 hr ,engine power totally loss, so you r correct it is not good to use other plugs, but i want to know what is the meaning of that( E ), like 6 is heat range,11 is plug gap .....

Do a google search for "NGK Numbering Guide", as I have found it online before. The one I have says "E" = "19mm thread reach".

thanx mike. i got reply from NGK it is,

This outboard take a special NGK spark plug. The -E on IZFR6K-11E means that is has a 10K ohm resistor internally. You will have to purchase them from Honda. The IZFR6K-11 are not a suitable replacement.
