Bf200 midsection bearing......like everyone else.

So I found the damage after pulling cover. No telling how long it's been blown out. judging by the corrosion around the damage, it's been a while like this. I've gotta ask...

a. Do I really need one back in there?
b. Why not just use some marine-Tex with some kind of backer temporarily until it hardens, remove the backer and reinstall lower unit?
c. What are the odds of finding one off a parts engine?

1. I recommend reinstalling, but for the cost of replacing take a look every year possibly replace bushing
2. you know it might work but why take the chance just bite the bullet
3. I Looked on ebay in past good luck all I saw were ones w me issue
