BF15A mate lower unit to body

I just finished replacing my impeller on the BF15A. Is there an easier more logical approach to mating up the lower unit with mid section than what I am currently doing (spastic act) or does it just take 4 hands?
How do you control the wiggle waggle in the water tube as you push up on the unit so you can get the drive shaft ends to slip into each other?}}

"Also, slather up everything with lubricant. I flooded the rubber grommet that accepts the water tube with spray silicone and greased up the drive shaft ends. After it goes in it is a balancing act as you snug up the four bolts. Adjusting the shift rod is a matter of trial and error."
