Afternoon, gents

Today I changed out the high and low pressure fuel filters on my BF150 (400 hours) I also wanted to change the in-line fuel pump filter but couldn't find any mention of how to do it in the Honda manual. It looked to me like the manifold cover (??) has to be pulled to get at it. Should this be changed out every 400 hours? I have the part but not sure how to do the install. Thanks for any words of wisdom out there!

Yes. Should be change out every 200hrs, so is due. If nothing else, also do plugs & thermostat.
On the actual install, maybe someone else can jump in.. I don't have a manual in front of me for your motor. I don't think you should have to remove the manifold cover, but maybe so..

Re: BF150 VAPOR CHAMBER Part No. 16911-759-003

I finally found it in the Honda manual. It's called a "vapor chamber" . There's no reference to changing it out, either in the BF150 manual or the Honda BF150 maintenance schedule. The only reason I clued in on it is when I bought the pre-owned boat and motor, it came with a box of parts, including the low and high pressure fuel filters (which I changed out) and the "vapor chamber"

Does anyone have any comments about the vapor chamber? Is this part of a 400 hour maintenance schedule? I bring it up because it looks like a lot of work just to get near it for a change out (a manifold cover probably has to come off)

Mike or Jimmy? Any ideas on that one? thanks!

Are both filters the same?
