BF135 vs. BF150

I am going to repower and wondering what everyone's take is on one vs. the other. Advantages/disadvantages. They weigh the same so my thought are if I can get a little extra power than why not. Going on a 19' aluminum Design Concept powered with a 135 currently.
 
I own a 225, so I am not the best source of information for you, but in my 50 years of boating, I have never met anyone who "wished" they had installed a smaller motor. If they weigh the same, I can not think of a any reason to install a smaller motor - - of course ignoring initial costs - - the 150 will cost more. Good luck - they are great motors!
 
That's my thought as well. Just making sure I'm not missing something. Yeah they are great. Got over 3500 hours on the motor right now. Just want to repower before there are any major problems
 
In the low rpm range, you can not tell the difference between them. However, when you need to kick it in the butt and take off at high speed, the vtec of the 150 kicks in and you can definitely tell the difference.
