"I start the engine and the buzzer beeps one second on and one second off constant. oil pressure light is green no check engine light on or blinking, starts doing it while the engine is cold or warm? any ideas"

"Hi I have an 05 175 HP Honda 4 stroke I put it in the water today and seems when I get up to around 3800 to 4000 RPM the engine buzzer comes on in a beep beep mode, when you turn the ignition off it resets and comes on again a little while later, if this was temp related it would remian on until the temp dropped one woud think? I have checked the contents of the water trap and it appears there is no water present as I thought it may have been the cause,mind ypu could be a sticky float or dodgy sensor
I can flick the ignition off then on one the run it also clears strange.
This boat was serviced last week and has only run 205 hrs I also had the leg impeller changed as a matter of course as it sits for several months with out use so once a year its done.

The other thing I have noticed is the speedo does not register and there is little if no water from the tell tale RH side of the engine
can the impeller not being fitted correctly cause any of these dramas and is that possible to in correctly fit it? The engine does not appear to be runing hot again supported I believe by the fact this alarm clears instantly once the ignition is turned off then on.
Does anyonhe have any sugestions, and how do I get the tell tale to runn again

Oh the wate rpressure at 4000 rpm is around 23 PSI
