BF 15 overrev's at half throttle or more

Honda BF15 rev's up high at half throttle or more, maybe the pin is in the wrong hole on the plane adjuster

Or maybe try another propeller.--------------Or is it a short shaft motor on a 20" transom ?

I tried a different prop, still rev's up but not as much. It's a 20" transom but it's cut down to 17", and I have a S/S Suzuki that I use on the same boat, works fine, I have changed the pin on the trim adjuster but haven't tried it out yet, Thanks for the comeback

So is the HONDA a shortshaft meant for a 15" transom ??
