Bf 130 speed sensor

"The speedo on my 2001 bf 130

"The speedo on my 2001 bf 130 is inop. When I blow air down the line I can see the gauge move, but when I connect the tubbing the the sensor nipple on the case extention and run the boat the gauge dose not work.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

"I had a similar problem on my BF150. I had a submerged tree that stopped up the speedo pickup hole on the lower unit, just in front of the prop. I dug out the debris with a fish hook and blew back toward the engine as just-in-time suggested to fix the problem."
