Best fuel lines?

Alright, I'm done with fittings! I got rid of the fuel fittings at the motor and replaced the fittings at the tank. It worked for a while, but today I had trouble at the fitting end. I had another fitting on board. I cut it back, replaced it, and was on my way. I think I can relpace that with a 1/4" nipple, and have no fittings. I just don't like the idea of filling and mixing on my deck.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Who makes the best hoses and bulbs?
What is the best kind of clamp to use?

Thanks Guyjig. OEM is the best. After buying an OEM feul line ass'y and still having a leak, I finally had to return the OEM fitting (which I replaced trying to get an after market fuel line ass'y to seal) back on the tank. That did it. No need to eliminate fittings; just stick with OEM.
