"I have one more question about this 1995 130 Johnson I have then I'm going fishing. The skeg on this got bent somehow and I'm afraid to attempt to straighten it because it will most likely break. I offset the bend by moving the trim tab in the opposite direction and it goes strait, but I'm curious as to how to go about such a thing. Thanks to all"

The trim tab would need to be moved a little at a time in the direction of the pulling action.

Any propeller repair shop can straighten that skeg for you BUT you will no doubt need to remove the lower unit in order to have it done.

"Thanks Joe, I never gave that solution a thought.There is a good place close to where I live called Lakeside marine in Harrisburg Pa. that has fixed a few props for me and the next time I have the lower unit off to change the pump Ill take it there and see if they can fix it. Thanks again"
