"I took the drive off to replace the belows, the exaust one came off the one on the shift cable was rotten and that was my water leak, but I cant figure out how to take off the drive shaft below how does it come off? also I was looking for parts at aftermarket.com and the prices are very good comparing with the marine shop. Aftermarket sells me the hole kit for $ 90 with O rings included 50% cheaper. should they be a quicksilver product? or can I by the any brand?

drive shaft bellows has clamp

drive shaft bellows has clamp on transom end. metal ring in bell housing end. pry ring out. new one comes with bellow. you will need a tool to install it.(like a big seal installer) haven't had any problems with aftermarket bellows.
