Beeping

2002 searay 26ft 5.0 mer cruiser . Ingnition switch off just battery on .you get beeps at random. All beeping circuits seem fine. My question is what circuit is on with ingnition switch off? I posted this same kind of post a couple of weeks ago i don't know what happened to it.thabks

Is the beeping coming from the engine warning system or your stereo speakers? I have a boat from the same vintage and same engine and mine has a system whereby on engine shut down the stereo will beep two consecutive beeps back to back maybe 3 times to warn you that you have not ejected the face plate on the stereo head unit. I guess it's a hold over from the days CD players were so popular they were commonly getting stolen. Not certain this is your issue but hope it is.

There is really nothing "ON" when the ignition key is OFF wrt the engine.

Agree it is very possible something else on the vessel is making the beeps.

Sorry for any inconvenience folks I got some miss information with this boat . Seems it beeps only with engine running only when wants to . going to get scan tool see what I see . Thanks again for getting back

Clean the lube monitor bottle out. Disconnect it, pour out contents and see how much gunk is in the bottom.
