I have a 97 triton with a mer 200.i went fishing and a alarm went off. It was a beep after beep like when u open the door to your truck. I was a good ways from the ramp. So I stopped and check the motor and it was barely warm. So I ran on to the dock and trailered. Still barely warm. Water Pump was working great. I mix the gas 50 to 1. That's what the previous owner told me. 3 years been running fine. I took the hood off and a wire on front was disconnected. Plug it back up and the alarm went off.i went out again and no alarm. The the other day the alarm is back.i took the hood back off and the plug that was loose is still on. The alarm comes on when I turn the switch on and the motor is not running. WtC?
