"1996 Johnson 150. wouldn't or start run unless you pumped bulb all the time. Changed fuel pump and it now starts fine but rough idle and when you power up it dies, and when you start it up it will spit back. Can let it idle 6 or 7 minutes and maybe it will power up. After you get powered up runs great. Was not run for 2 or three months. Thanks for any help"

sounds to me like you need your carbs cleaned was there gas in the carbs for the time that it was not ran.
