Well I purchased a used 2004 Boston Whaler boat with 170hrs on the 2004 Optimax 150hp. Boat run fine. Full WOT right at spec. Getting the boat ready to put on our boat lift I did the normal change filter/water separator etc... I noticed that there was wobble in drive belt so I ordered a new belt and it was still there. I then ordered a new belt tensioner spring and when I went to replace my heart was broken. The engine tab had chipped off.
My question is has anyone ever recovered from this with a fix?
