"I am STUPID, STUPID, STUPID. Removed the old starter/solenoid. Got a new one, tried to install...Now which wire goes where??? I didn't draw a wiring diagram or take a picture with my digital camera because I KNEW I would remember. Help. I got a fat red wire from battery, two small wires (one purple w/ stripe and one yellow w/ stripe) a large orange wire, and a medium red that comes from the engine somewhere. I also have a small black cube(fuse?) that attaches to one of the large posts and then a wire attaches to it. Got two large posts and two small posts with 5 wires and a fuse (small black cube). Help!!!!! What goes where???? Thanks for any help."

"red, orange, and fuse on larg

"red, orange, and fuse on large post. batt.+ on fuse. yellow/red on small "s" terminal. (usually nearest block) purple on small "i" terminal."

"Scott,

Thanks for your hel

"Scott,

Thanks for your help. However I am a little dense on this. As I understand it;
1) small purple wire on small "i" terminal
2) small yellow wire on small "s" terminal
3) large red wire from battery on large terminal
4) large orange, medium red go on the other large terminal along with the black fuse box.

Am I correct? Also, the large red from the battery, how do I determine which one of the large posts it goes on? Sorry for being so dense!

Thanks."

put the fuse block on the upper large terminal.
put the three remaining wires on the fuse block. the lower large terminal goes to the motor. don't connect anything to that."

"scott;
I sympathize with you man!
Been thru the big "D" a few years back. Happens frequently these days.
Have faith, there is a light at the end of the tunnel; you just never know how long the tunnel is going to be.
Sorry about your mother.
Welcome back.

Rod"
