b96 Mercury 60 horsepower model identification

"I want to order a service and

"I want to order a service and parts manual for my outboard but I need to know the model. It's a '96 Mercury 60 horsepower three cylinder oil injected two stroke, the original motor to a '96 Tracker V-16 Super Pro. I located a plug on the rear of the engine with this number stamped into it: OG269445 which appears to be the serial number, but I still need the model and I'm unable to find any kind of tag or sticker with that info.
Anyone know where I can find the model number or what model my motor is?"

"The service manual for your motor is Merc part number 90-817643R1 - if you want to save yourself the 70 or so bucks that Merc wants for the manual, drop me an email (click my name) and I can "loan" it to you in PDF format.

I am not aware of a "model number" for your motor unless you are referring to something like 60ELPTO etc..."

"Got your email. The manual itself is quite large - 7 or 8 chapters broken down down into 3 or 4 sub-chapters in a few cases. I think the whole thing is almost 10 Megs. Normally would split it up into 4 or 5 emails about 2 megs each, so if you have an appointment for a high speed hook-up, maybe we should wait until then.

I don't have a parts manual or users manual for any of the Merc models..."

How many pages is it? I kind of like having a manual I can hold in my hand, but I figured I could just burn the whole thing to a CD-R and print the pages I need, or take it to a printing shop and have them print the whole thing for me."
