"Motor starts and runs WOT for

"Motor starts and runs WOT for a short time then loses power and stops.

Changed fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator. Fuel pressure, even at idle is still all over the place.

What else could be affecting the fuel delivery in this engine? Probably missing something simple.

"The ECM gets the signal from the distributor (purple/white lead) on the GM motors if they used the Delphi system. Either way, it could easily be an electrical issue.

Is there a rapid clicking sound from one of the relays when the symptom shows up? Could be a bad ground on the motor from the relays, at the rear where they attach to the motor. Usually on a bolt or stud near the starter."
