Problem: trouble idling - whe

Problem: trouble idling - when put into gear will die. keep trying and will manage to get going - engine works great once above 2000 rpm. Am troubleshooting air leak in fuel starting with fuel line. I have an aftermarket 11 foot fuel line I assembled. Is this too long? Should it be more around 6ft?

"11 ft not too long,but i'd trim it to fit ur application.how do u know u have an air lk?when was last tune up,carb cleaning and overhaul?..ck for water in fuel.."

"It was tuned up last summer prior to winterizing. Purchased this spring - not really sure when the carbs were last cleaned. Thanks, for the advice. Will trim lines down - was a bit excess - maybe being kinked - will pop in new spark plugs and see if next step is cleaning carbs. Will this require a carb rebuild?"

"yes,...basically same thing,just using new,..parts...a factory service manual,wouuld be a good thing...u can get them,on this site,i think...seloc and clymer are not a first pick.."
