I have a 6hp Evinrude. It has

I have a 6hp Evinrude. It has no off switch. it's my first boat and not sure where to hook one up. I'm mechanically inclined but can't find a wiring diagram.The motor was once hooked up to console controls. It's on stick controls. Theres a wire sticking out the front. It connects to the carb mounting inside.Any help would be apperciated.

The engine turns off by grounding the ignition. This is done through a "black/yellow stripe" wire which you should find at the powerpack, on one of the plug-in connectors attatched to the pack.
