"I am new to boating and I bought a boat with a '76 Evinrude 85 HP motor. The motor runs (haven't gotten it in the water yet but used ear muffs). I have read that all motors have a "pee hole" that water comes out of when running to show the water pump is working. My question is, where is the pee hole on this motor? I cannot find a place for one. guess I'm really dumb. Any advise would help.

Older models did not have a pee hole. I think that includes your '76 model.

maybe you're not as dumb as you think
