"Finaly got my new to me B100
"Finaly got my new to me B100 home and in the test tank (55 gal. drum). Upon running, the carb is so varnished I had to clean everything out and the motor will only run at a high idle or less and any attempt at further acceleration will kill the motor. This of course should be fixed by rebuilding the carb. My real concern is valve train noise. How much noise should I hear? I'm hearing what sounds like rattling the higher I raise the rpm's. Should there be alot of noise or fairly quiet?"
