"I have a pair of DF140s that both started sounding the caution buzzer continuously at various RPMs with no indicator lights on the tachs. (all lights work when ignition is turned on) Rev Limiter does not kick in, oil level is good, water flow is good. Ran for 40 minutes (3500 - 4000 RPM) down to dive site with no promblem, sat for 50 minutes and then within a couple minutes of starting up and running to the next dive site, I got caution buzzers on both motors within minutes of each other at various RPM levels. Disconnected the buzzer so the passengers (and I) didn't have to listen to it and ran the motors like normal the rest of the weekend with no loss of power, rev limiter or indicators lights. I couldn't find anything in the manual for caution system that did not include a warning light. Any suggestions?"
