Audible Warning

1994 5.7GiPMDA, no audible warning installed. If it had one, where would it be installed, and what wiring color? Thanks ...

If you turn on the ignition but do not start it and there is no alarm sound ... you probably don't have one...unless someone disabled it. On some Mercs, the alarm can be disabled by removing a terminal from a ground stud behind the distributor. Alarm systems can be simple... a no oil pressure switch, a hi temp switch and a noise maker widget... unless they got cute and made it an output from the ECU. However, it still needs a noise making widget, which is often a quarter sized 1/2 thick mini puck, often left just hanging in the engine wiring harness.
