Hi All. It's been a while since i posted
i have a 91 200hp merc. The motor is great, but i am doing some refreshing on the upholstry and need to remove the remote assembly
it's a quicksilver side mount with the round button. Have pushed in the throttle only button moved it to WOT and removed the throttle only button. It's just a button though not like the other ones i have seen on the web. I can't see a bolt or nut that needs to be removed the take off the handle. Under the remote handle their appears to be a screw (part 16 on the below diagram) but it doesn'nt have a head of any kind that i can see. How do i remove the remote handle?
