"I lost one of the two blades of this beauty.
It's an OMC stainless steel folding propeller that fits their 15hp "vanishing" Saildrive.
I'd like to buy this blade but I may also consider selling what's left of my prop.
Let's not fight.

Richard.

" what's the pitch and diamater on that prop. Will it also fit the 9.9 Johnson/Evinrude hub? It's the same powerhead. The only difference is the carbs and the bore of the piston. How much would it cost to recondition this prop. I've heard that SS props are harder to recondition than aluminums, but when they are repaired properly, it's good as new. How much do you want for it? I'll come back to you concerning pitch and diameter but I cannot help you with the other questions. My first goal is to find that missing blade (there must be one somewhere) otherwise I'll then consider selling it probably half its market price.
None of my business but I can't help wonder why anyone would use a folding prop on an outboard? You must be on to something here!
see you!

"Richard,
Folding props are used on sailboats to reduce the drag and increase the sailing speed when the engine is not running. The saildrive unit is mounted through the bottom of the hull and cannot be retracted.
