Are these lower units interchangable

"I have a 1978 Evinrude 25 hp

"I have a 1978 Evinrude 25 hp model number 25802C with a lower unit that had a very bad hunting season....major damage.

I have found a 1977 Evinrude 25 hp lower unit model number 25703H, which looks the same but are the parts the same or do I need to keep looking for the correct lower unit?
