I have a long shaft 1995 Honda B50A with a damaged gearbox.
I have been offered a 2001 50hp gearbox unit and would like to know if this would fit as a direct replacement without any modification, for example, would there be any difference in the propeller shaft splines? engine driveshaft splines or even the impeller etc.
I would appreciate any advice.
