aq430b alternetive fuel pump options

Now getting my wellcraft excell ready for april and hopefully hot weatheron the way, my fuel pump failed last year in in nov, completly dead have done all the checks and defo fuel pump knackerd.

could some one advise me if there are any alternative that i should look at, the pump cost in the uk new is about £120, with todays advances i would of thought there are other marine fuel pumps that i could install or consider.

any help & advice greatly apprectiated please

It may be best to stay with the OEM pump style and not have to concern yourself with mounting/plumbing issues, etc.
The original p/n 856955 has been replaced with p/n 3858261.

thanks ricardo marine to be honist i dont mind adding extra plumming if i can get a decent pump at half the cost of the new replacement. there must be better fuel pumps out there the one have from vp is old technology now

have you ever tried these impellers from cef just wonderd what the quality was like as there made in italy.

Ayuh,... Actually, it's Current technology,.... As per Part #,...

Your link to samallen looks to be pretty much the same as Globe Marine impellers, of Massachusetts....

Spend the money and do it correctly by using the OEM replacement.
